Joshua Pim
Joshua Pim was born in May 20, 1869 in Bray Wicklow. Pim was a very effective tennis player from Ireland which was bordered by the Northern Ireland to the north east, the Irish Sea to the east, St George's Channel to the south-east, the Celtic Sea to the south and by the Atlantic Ocean to the west and north. Not just by luck, but because of being an excellent player, he won the Wimbledon men's singles title two years in a row, in the year 1893 with the opponent Wilfred Baddeley with a final score of 3–6, 6–1, 6–3, 6–2. And the following year after, he won again during the Wimbledon Championship with the same final opponent with a comparatively score of 10–8, 6–2, 8–6 from the previous year. He became a runner up in two consecutive years and reached the finals in the year 1891 with the same final opponent Wilfred Baddeley with a final score of 6–4, 1–6, 7–5, 6–0. And again in the following year, Joshua Pin retained the title with the same opponent and with a score of 4–6, 6–3, 6–3, 6–2. He was regarded as one of the greatest champion player during the Wimbledon Men’s Singles Champions
