Julie Coin is a female professional tennis player who currently resides in Amiens, France. She was born on December 2, 1982 in Amiens, France, and is coached by Emmanuel Daverdin. When she was much younger, she played tennis at the very same club as Mauresmo. Incidentally, they shared the same coach, but they did not get to know each other well. Coin graduated with a degree of mathematics from Clemson University, and played on the tennis team for the said university.

Coin’s participation in the university tennis team got their team to be present at back-to-back semifinals on NCAA. She was also an ITF All-American while at Clemson three times, and in 2004, she won the ACC Player of the year.

Coin turned pro in 1999, but she only played on the ITF Circuit in France. The following year, she still went on to participate mainly in the said ITF Circuit. By 2001, Coin managed to win her first doubles title while playing on the ITF Circuit still. Her participation in the ITF Circuit continued until 2002, but she stopped momentarily in 2003. She did resume her ITF participation, and won two ITF Circuit singles as well as one title in doubles.

By 2006, she tried out to join the Tour, but ended up failing in the qualifying round five times. As a result, she resumed her playing in the ITF Circuit.

Through her career, Coin has a total of 5 titles in singles, and 6 titles in doubles on the ITF Circuit alone. However, she does not have any titles on the WTA Tour as of the moment. She also does not have any titles on any Grand Slam event so far.
