Anastasia Ivanovna Rodionova is a female Australian professional tennis player. She was born on May 12, 1982 in Tambov, Soviet Union. Her father, Ivan Rodionov is a tennis coach, while her mother, Natalia Rodionova, is a homemaker. She has a younger sister, Arina, who also plays tennis. Rodionova is noted to be a baseliner who prefers clay surface when playing.

Rodionova turned pro in 1997, and immediately participated in the ITF Circuit. Even in 1998, she had already won her first ITF Circuit doubles title. It was in 2000 that she played her first Tour main draws. However, she fell in the first round as qualifier. She also fell in the qualifying round in Moscow. For the rest of the year, she continued to play on the ITF Circuit.

She had her breakthrough week at an event held at Quebec City in 2002. During that time, she reached her first semifinals in Tour singles, and earlier in the season, she won her first main draw match at a Tour event in Casablanca. She packed one singles title and two doubles title by the end of the year in the ITF Circuit.

After years of wins and losses, Rodionova ended her season with her second straight Top 100 finish in 2007. That season was highlighted by her second semifinals appearance at Tour singles held at Guangzhou, however, she was defeated by Medina Garrigues, which knocked her out of the tournament.

Throughout her years playing professional tennis, Rodionova has a running record of 265-225 in singles, and 171-179 in doubles. She has 6 singles titles in the ITF Circuit, and she also has 2 WTA titles as well as 11 ITF titles for doubles. Her highest rank achieved for singles was in No. 63 on April 16, 2007. For doubles, she reached her highest rank achieved was No. 41 on July 24, 2006. However, despite the number of titles Rodionova has won, she has not garnered any Grand Slam titles yet.
