Nicolas Devilder

Nicolas Devilder is a retired French professional tennis player who achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 60. He was primarily a player on the ATP Challenger Tour, winning numerous singles and doubles titles.

He won one ATP Tour doubles championship at the 2008 Romanian Open and made a memorable run to the third round of the French Open in 2012.

In a highlight of his career at a major tournament, Devilder made a remarkable run to the third round of the French Open in 2012. He won five consecutive matches, coming through three rounds of qualifying before advancing to the main draw. His run was eventually ended by World No. 1 Novak Djokovic.

Devilder won one doubles title on the ATP Tour, capturing the Romanian Open in Bucharest in 2008 with his partner, Paul-Henri Mathieu, in an exceptionally close final. He retired from professional tennis in 2013.
