Lilia Osterloh
Lilia Osterloh is an American tennis player. Born on April 7, 1978, in Columbus, Ohio, Osterloh turned pro in 1997. As an amateur she played her first events on the ITF circuit and in the US Open doubles. By 1996 she was playing in the main draw at the US Open. In her first year as a pro, Osterloh reached the third round of the US Open. A year later she won a doubles title in the ITF Circuit. She made her top 100 début in 1998 and won another doubles title in the ITF.
In 2000 she reached the QF twice in Tokyo and made her first two Grand Slam finishes in Wimbledon and the US Open. She entered the top 50 in rankings in this year, climbing up to number 48 from 57. It was also in 2000 when she won her first WTA doubles title.
She reached a career-high ranking of number 41 on April 23, 2001, and won another doubles title in the ITF, followed by another doubles title in the following year. She fell out of the top 200 for a little while before climbing back in 2004, playing her strongest in the summer hard court season and reached 2 round in four straight events. She reached the quarter-finals in Acapulco and won one singles title in the ITF, followed by another singles ITF title the following year. In 2008, she reached the QF in Cincinnati and captured one WTA doubles title. This was followed by three more doubles titles on the ITF circuit. Osterloh only won one WTA doubles title in 2010, at the International Osaka Japan with Chang Kai-chen.
