Li Na says she’s “cool and calm” for this year’s Australian Open final after making her way through to the decider with a surprise semifnial victory over Maria Sharapova.
The Chinese world number six made the 2011 Australian Open final but lost to Belgian Kim Clijsters in the decider.
However, this time round, Li is confident she will have more composure.
“Last time was more exciting, and I was more nervous, because it was first time to be in the final. But I think this time I’m more calm, more cool,” she said.
She added: “If I win the title, maybe I’ll disappear for a couple days, try to stay with the family.
“No one will be able find me because I really need time with my friends and family.”
