The USA was in the lead again against the Czech in Monday’s Doubles Match. Making a good team, James Blake together with Wayne Odesnik emerged victorious against the Czech’s Tomas Berdych and Pavel Vizer.

The United States Tennis Team started out slow in the ARAG World Team Cup held in Dusseldorf, Germany. The first singles match, played by James Blake of the United States and Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic was disappointing for the American Team as Tomas Berdych was announced the winner. The second singles match turned out to be a tie between Wayne Odesnik of the US and Ivo Minar of the Czechs. It was up to the Doubles Match to determine which country will take the lead in the ARAG World Team Cup of 2008.

In the first set, the Czech team took the lead with an impressive 6-0 score. The Americans, however, did not hold back in the second set, ending the second set with a score of 7-5. The third match turned out victorious for both James Blake and Wayne Odesnik with a score of 10-8. Now on a roll, the world is curious to see how the United States team will fare in the 2008 ARAG World Team Cup.
