Asiciacion Atletico Lujan de Coya

One of the younger teams of the Argentine league system, Atletico Lujan de Cuyo are a football club based out of Mendoza, in Argentina. The team is a regular fixture of the lower divisions and is currently part of the Torneo Argentino B division. The team was formed after three local clubs, Chacras de Coria, Lujan Sport Club and Mayor Drummond were merged. Los Violetas, their nickname based on their violet strips, are a strong contender in the league as most of the players who have come in from Chacras de Coria are part of a club which won the 1999-00 Torneo Argentino B Championship. In the local Liga Mendocina, Lujan have won four titles while Chacras de Coria, before merger, won one local Liga Mendocina title.

Christian Lucchetti and Osvaldo Miranda are two of the many players who have made tremendous contributions to the club.
