Prague Dukla was a professional Czech football club from Prague, which had won many awards and acclamations. It was dissolved in 1996 and became FC Dukla Příbram. The home ground of the team is Stadion Juliska in Prague which has a seating capacity of 18,000 spectators.

The club name disappeared from the Czech football for many years, though not forever. A local Prague team, Dukla Dejvice founded in 1959, began playing the Juliska stadium, adopting the Dukla Praha’s red and yellow colors. The Dukla Prague association got founded again and was with the famous name taking Prague Championship over from Dukla Dejvice. Moreover, the club entered Prague Championship again in 2006.

Some of the former notable players of the club were Ladislav Novak, Josef Masopust, Ladislav Vizek and many others.

Major Highlights

The club won the Czechoslovak Football League Championship in 1953, 1956, 1958, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1966, 1977, 1979 and in 1982. They were the runner up team in 1955, 1959, 1974, 1978, 1981, 1984 and in 1988.

The club won the Czechoslovak Football Cup eight times, in 1961, 1965, 1966, 1969, 1981, 1983, 1985, 1990. In 1952, they won this title but it was not an official cup competition.
