The home games of the team are played at Rogers Center, which was formerly known as SkyDome. Jim Barker is the General Manager and also the Head Coach of the team. David Braley is the owner of the team.

Also the oldest professional sports franchise in North America to have retained its original name, Toronto Argonauts team has won the most Grey Cup with 15 in the league. They have the third most Grey Cup appearances with 21, with Winnipeg (23) and Edmonton (22) behind the team. The team of Toronto Argonauts also won their last four appearances in the Grey Cup matches, in 1991, 1996, 1997 and in 2004.

This team is one of the six professional teams in football to feature many Heisman Trophies on their roster. In 1997, the team had players like Andre Ware and Doug Flutie, with the team have two Heisman winners at the position of quarterback.

In 2006, the team had notable players like Eric Crouch and Ricky Williams. The design of the helmet is of Oxford Blue background, with Oxford Blue and Cambridge Blue round shield inscribed with a white alphabet, “A”. The color of the uniform is White, Oxford Blue and Cambridge Blue.

The major rival teams of Toronto Argonauts are Montreal Alouettes, Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
