The Philippines national football team is the national football team of the Philippines representing the country in international football. The team is entirely controlled by the Philippine Football Federation, initialized as PFF, which is the governing body of football in Philippines.

The team is considered as one of the oldest national teams in Asia. Irrespective of this fact, they were never qualified for the FIFA World Cup or the AFC Asian Cup or had any major success on the international stage. On the other hand, they were successful in their early years between 1913 and 1934 in the Far Eastern Championship Games. Edwin Cablida is the head coach of the team with the captain being Alexander Borromeo. The home stadium of this team is the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

=== Recent history ===

In 2006, Philippines team was in 195 rank as per FIFA World Ranking which is their lowest ever. By the end of the season, they were moved to 171 rank after qualifying for the ASEAN Football Championship in 2007 with 4-1 victory over Brunei. But the team failed to make their mark from preliminaries and their rank dropped to 179. After many poor performances, they refused to even register and enter for the qualification stages for the FIFA World Cup in 2010.

=== Kit of the team ===

Initially, the kit providers of the team were Adidas and ASICS. In 2008, the Philippine Football Federation signed a three year a 9 million contract with Mizuno Corporation. The deal was signed for Mizuno Corporation to be the official outfitter and also as a kit supplier of the team along with being a major partner in development programs. The kit color for home games are in all red combination of red jersey, red socks and red shorts. The away kit includes similar in all white combination, with white shorts, white jersey and white socks.
