Knattspyrnufelagio Valur is an Icelandic football cub based in Reykjavik. They currently feature in the Landsbankadeild, the Icelandic top flight.
Valur were established on May 11,1911 as YMCS but were rechristened to Valur later that same year. They won their first Icelandic championship in 1930 and have been the champions of Iceland for 20 times. They won the Icelandic Cup for the first time in their history in 1965 and have won the Cup 9 times.
Valur play their home matches at the Vodafonehollin that can accommodate 3000 spectators.
