FK Borac Banja Luka is a Bosnian football club based in the city of Banja Luka. They currently feature in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

FK Borac Banja Luka were established on July 4,1926 as Radnicki sportski klub Borac (Workers’ Sports Club Borac). They were founded by a group of football aficionados and won their first tournament in 1928 in Sarajevo.

In 1945 the club was rechristened as Fudbalski klub Borac (Football Club Borac or FK Borac). They played in the Yugoslav Third League for two years and then progressed to the Second League in 1953.

Borac gained promotion to the Yugoslav First League for the 1961-1962 season but suffered relegation at the end of the season. They then had to wait until the 1970-1971 season to regain top flight status and this time they maintained their top flight status for four successive seasons. They then got relegated and returned to the top flight and stayed there until 1980.

Borac played in the top flight again between 1989 and 1992 and finished fourth in the First League in the 1990-1991 season. They won the Yugoslav Cup in 1988 and became only the Second League club to ever achieve this feat. They won the Mitropa Cup in 1992.

FK Borac Banja Luka play their home matches at the City Stadium of Banja Luka that can accommodate 12,000 spectators.
