Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club, also known as Caley Thistle and Caley Jags, is a Scottish football club based in Inverness. They currently feature in the Scottish Premier League.

Caledonian Thistle FC were established in 1994 after Caldedonian and Inverness Thistle. The club was elected to the Scottish Third Division in 1994 and its name was altered to Inverness Caldedonian Thistle FC in 1996. They finished sixth in the Third Division in 1994-1995 and finished third the next season. Then in the 1996-1997 season they won the Third Division Championship and gained promotion to the Second Division.

At the end of the 2003-2004 season Inverness were promoted to the Scottish Premier League. They shared the stadium with Aberdeen for the first season as their stadium was ineligible at the time. But after that one season, they have been playing in their own grounds and are now an established Scottish top flight club.

Inverness play their home matches at the Caledonian Stadium that can accomodate 7,711 spectators. They bear the nickname Caley Thirstle.
