Juventud Antoniana

Salta City in the Salta Province of Argentina is host to a small football club that goes by the name Juventud Antoniana. The club was founded in 1916 and has since, played in the top flight 6 times. In 1983, their 5th time at the top, the team reached the second round where it got eliminated.

In 1995-96, the team won the Torneo Argentino A division title to gain promotion into the Primera B Nacional division. The team has had the privilege of fielding players of the quality of Jose Luniz, Gustavo Paruolo and the dependable Jose Valdiviezo.
