Luis Fabiano Clemente is a Brazilian international footballer who currently features for the Spanish giants Sevilla FC. He plays as a striker and is renowned his scoring prowess.

Luis Fabiano made his professional debut for the Brazilian side Ponte Preta in 1997 and after a disappointing one season in France for Rennes, he was a huge hit for Brazilian giants Sao Paulo. He played for them from 2001 to 2004 and scored 118 times in 160 matches in all competitions.

FC Porto signed Fabiano in the summer of 2004 but was sold to Sevilla after one season. Fabiano took some time to settle in Seville but now he has proved his mettle. He was the second top scorer in the 2007-2008 season.

In 2005, his mother was kidnapped by gunmen in Campinas but she was rescued by the police 61 days later. Fabiano has featured 18 games for his nation Brazil and has 9 goals to his credit.
