Born on 29 November 1983, Albert Bunjaku is a Swiss footballer player of Kosovar Albanian, currently playing for 1.FC Nuremberg as a striker.
Bunjaku incepted his career with1.FC Schlieren in 1996 and played with the same till 1998. In 1998 he moved to Grasshopper-Club Zürich and again got transferred to SC Young Fellows Juventus in 2000.
Bunjaku took his first step towards the professional career in 2003 with FC Schaffhausen in the challenge league in second division of Switzerland. The club won promotion in 2004 and over the course of the time, Bunjaku made 39 appearances scoring 3 goals.
In 2006, Bunjaku left FC Schaffhausen for SC Paderborn of 2 Bundesliga. He moved to the third division FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt in 2006 and remained with the same for three years till 2009. He scored 34 goals in 74 appearances.
Bunjaku has represented the Switzerland and the Switzerland Under- 21 National teams in 2009 and 2004 respectively. He has also scored 7 goals in the Switzerland U-21 National team making 15 appearances.
