Yuto Nagatomo is a Japan international football player who currently features for the Italian and European giants Inter Milan. He plays as a full-back and is rated as one of the best Asian players currently based in Europe.
Nagatomo commenced his professional club football career at Japanese giants FC Tokyo in 2008 and was on their books until 2010. In July 2010 he was taken on loan by Italian Serie A club Cesena and instantly became a regular at left-back.
In January 2011 he was signed by Cesena on a permanent contract and was farmed out on loan to Inter rightaway, with Davide Santon moving in the opposite direction. At the end of the season he was awarded with a permanent contract by Inter in a cash-plus-player exchange.
Nagatomo made his international debut for Japan in 2008 and has played in over 50 matches for his country so far.
