Domenico Criscito
Domenico Criscito>, born on 30th December 1986 in Cercola, Italy, is a professional footballer who plays for Italian National Football team. He is also a part of Genoa which is a Serie A club. He has also played for Juventus’ Primavera team from 2006-09. Standing 6 feet tall, Criscito is a kind of player who can be an asset for any team because of his solid defense at the position of left back.
At an age of just sixteen, Criscito began his football career with Serie B club Genoa. Domenico was co-owned by the clubs Genoa as well as Juventus and he constantly switched between the two sides until settling with Genoa for whom he has now been playing on a regular basis. He is quite popular among the officials and fans of both the clubs.
Domenico Criscito has been a part of Italy’s Under-17s, Under-18s, Under-19s, Under-20s and Under 21s teams. He made his debut for Italian national team in a friendly match played against Switzerland. He has been included in the twenty-three men squad selected for FIFA World Cup 2010. Till now, he had made eight appearances for the national team and is yet to score his first goal.
