Alex Diego Tejado is a professional footballer from Mexico who plays as a midfielder. Diego began his professional career when he joined the youth team at UNAM Pumas as a 14 year old. The youngster moved up the ranks and made his first division debut in 2005.
He was sent out on loan to Chiapas in 2006 but six games later, he returned to the Pumas. Since 2006, Diego has played almost 30 games for the Pumas, finding it hard to get a place in the first eleven. Despite mostly substitute appearances, Diego was part of the squad that won the 2009 Clausura Tournament.
