Pablo Bonells

Pablo Bonells Mendoza is a professional footballer from Mexico who plays as a striker. Bonells played his youth football at Pumas Morelos, an affiliate of UNAM Pumas that is aimed at cultivating promising players. From 1998 till 2005, Bonells was a part of the affiliate club and in 2005, he moved to the mother club, making his debut for the Pumas.

Despite being a promising youngster, there was hardly any playing time for Bonells, spending most of his time on the bench or on the reserve team. His call up to the Pumas coincided with his call up to the Under-20 Mexican national team.

Bonells has played 7 league games for the Pumas, scoring once, although he has been used more in reserve, friendly, pre-season and other less-important tournaments.
