Carlos Humberto Gonzalez Rolon is a professional footballer from Mexico who plays as a defender. A veteran in world football, Gonzalez began his playing career at F.C. Atlas in 1994. A year down the line, he decided to move to the United States to play in the lower division with Atletico San Francisco.
For 6 seasons, between 1995 and 2001, Gonzalez was a regular member of the first team at Atletico San Francisco before returning to the Mexican big league to play for Estudiantes Tecos in 2001-02. In 2002, he moved to Monarcas Morelia where he became a strong player and a regular member of the first team, helping the team win promotion to the first division as well.
In 2007, after almost 140 games for Morelia with 3 goals to his name, Gonzalez decided to move to UNAM Pumas. With the Pumas, Gonzalez has struggled to keep a first team place, making only 43 appearances over three seasons. He has primarily been a part of Pumas’ fixtures as a substitute or as a starter in less-important games.
He won a winners’ medal at the 2009 Clausura tournament and has also scored twice for the Pumas.
