An Argentine footballer from Carlos Pellegrini, Gabriel Ernesto Pereyra Vazquez began his professional football career in 1998 with River Plate. Making over 40 appearances with the team, Pererya scored two goals in this duration, and then transferred to Cruz Azul, where he remained till 2007. Having more luck with the club, Pereyra went on to score 11 goals in over 80 appearances he made for the club.
During his tenure with River Plate Pereyra was loaned out to Defensores from 2001 till 2003, during which time he scored 12 goals in over 50 appearances for the club. For the 2007 Apertura season Pereyra was transferred to Atlante F.C., his current club, though he was loaned out to Monarcas Morelia in 2010, for six months.
Some of Pereyra’s achievements include winning the Apertura 1999, the Clausura 2000 and 2004, while with River Plate and more recently, the Apertura 2007 season with Atlante F.C.
