Emre Asik is a Turish football player who currently features for the Turkish giants Galatasaray. He plays as a central defender.
Emre Asik commenced his professional club football career at Balikesirspor in 1991 and played for them for two seasons before joining Fenerbahce and played for them for three years.
Asik went onto sign for Istanbulspor in 1996 and played for them for four seasons. In 2000 he was signed by Galatasaray and after three years joined Besiktas.
Asik returned to Galatasaray in 2006.
Emre Asik made his international debut for Turkey in 1993 and has played in over 50 international matches for his nation.
