Rustu Recber is a former Turkish international football player who currently features for the Turkish first division club Besiktas. He plays as a goalkeeper.
Rustu Recber commenced his professional club football career at Turkish side Antalyaspor in 1991 and played for them for three years. In 1994 he was signed by Fenerbahce and was a consistent figure for them until 2003, featuring in 270 league games.
Recber was signed by Barcelona in 2003 but after one season signed for Fenerbahce. He featured in 80 league matches for the Turkish giants between 2004 and 2007 and joined Besiktas.
Rustu Recber made his international debut for Turkey in 1994 and played for his nation until 2009, featuring in 119 international matches. He was part of the Turkish squad that reached the semi-finals of the 2002 World Cup finals.
