Jorge Ivan Estrada Manjarrez is a professional football player from Mexico who plays as a defender. Estrada made his professional debut for Dorados de Sinaloa in 2004. One of the shortest players on any pitch, Estrada had all the makings of a solid defensive player and made up for his short height with an enormous leaping ability. Estrada became a regular player in the Dorados first team and made over 55 appearances in 2 years.

In 2006, Estrada moved to Veracruz where he failed to make it in the first team and his association with the team was restricted to just 6 appearances, most of them as a substitute. In 2007, Estrada made a move to Santos Laguna and that transformed his career.

In an extremely short period, Estrada established himself as an irreplaceable part of the Santos Laguna first team and has some incredible dribbling skills and strength that more than make up for his short stature. In 2008, Estrada helped the team win the 2008 Clausura championship with some strong performances with the back-line. This was in addition to the “Best Center-Back” award for the 2007 Apertura Tournament, that was awarded to Estrada for his exploits.
