Karim Haggui is a Tunisian football player who currently features for the German Bundesliga club Hannover 96 as a defender.
Karim Haggui commenced his professional club football career at Etoile du Sahel in 2003 and played for them until 2004, when he joined RC Strasbourg. He played for them until 2006 and then played for Bayer Leverkusen for three seasons, scoring 3 goals in 59 league appearances.
Haggui was signed by Hannover 96 in 2009. He made his competitive debut for this team on 2nd August, 2009 in their 3-1 defeat at Eintracht Trier in the first round of the German Cup. He even played a game on his Bundesliga debut for the club, in his 1-0 defeat at Hertha BSC in 2009. He scored his first goal for Hannover in their 5-2 Bundesliga victory home match to SC Freiburg, the same year. He scored two own goals in a 5-1 loss to Borussia Monchengladbach, thereby defeating his own team.
By 2010, he returned to the pitch for his second season with Hannover 96.
