Alberto Soto

Alberto Soto Pacheco is a professional football player from Mexico who plays as a defender. Soto was part of the Santos Laguna youth academy and broke into the first team in 2008, at the age of 18. A highly-rate and talented midfielder, Soto is said to be a great prospect for the future.

Soto is a regular member of the Santos Laguna first team squad and although he has just made 5 appearances on the pitch, Soto is considered to be one for the future.

In 2007, when still in his youth academy days, Soto was chosen to represent the Mexican Under-17 national team at a pre-World Cup U-17 tournament.
