Braulio Luna
Braulio Luna Guzman is a professional football player from Mexico who plays as a midfielder. Guzman came up from the youth setup at UNAM Pumas and was called up to the first team in 1993. His debut came more than a year later, against Leon, and Guzman went on to play 122 games for the team, as a regular member of the starting lineup, over the next 6 seasons. He scored 12 goals in this tenure.
In 1998, Luna was transferred to another Mexican giant, Club America, where he spent 5 seasons in the first team. Playing 127 games, Luna scored 18 goals and was indispensible to the side. He moved to Club Nexaca in 2002 and played there till 2004, scoring 24 goals in 80-odd games. Club Nexaca was followed by CD Veracruz where Luna was again a permanent fixture in the starting lineup. He played 80-odd games although his scoring rate fell drastically as his role in the team changed.
In 2007, Luna moved to San Luis F.C. where he has been a regular member in the first eleven, playing almost 100 games so far and scoring 12 goals.
At the international level, Luna was part of the Mexican national team in the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France and the 2002 edition in Korea & Japan. He has played 21 games for the national team and has scored once.
