Ignacio Torres
Ignacio Torres is a professional football player from Mexico who plays as a midfielder. Torres came out of the Club America youth system and joined the senior squad in 2003. However, unable to make anything more than two substitute appearances, Torres was sent out on loan to San Luis F.C. in search of first team football. He only played 6 games for San Luis F.C., again finding it hard to make it into the starting eleven.
At the end of the 2006 season, Torres went on his second loan move to Jaibos Tampico Madero for another season. After playing just 16 games in the starting lineup, Torres had netted 4 goals and was called back by Club America again, to return to their lineup. Not able to deny one of the biggest teams in Mexico, Torres went straight back and got into the starting lineup to see out the remaining games of the season. At the end of the season, he moved to San Luis F.C. where he has been in and out of the starting lineup.
Torres has represented the Under-20 Mexican national team at the 2003 FIFA U-20 World Cup and has been used mostly as a substitute throughout his club and international career.
