Juan Francisco Martinez Modesto, commonly known as Nino, is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish first division CD Tenerife. He plays as a striker.
Nino commenced his professional club football career at Elche in 1998 in the third tier of Spanish football and played for them until 2006, scoring 88 goals in 273 appearances.
Nino then signed for Levante at the start of the 2006-2007 season and made his debut in La Liga. But he could manage only one league goal the entire season and was loaned CD Tenerife for the 2007-2008 season in the Spanish Segunda Division.
At the end of the 2007-2008 season Nino was signed by Tenerife on a three-year deal and helped the club gain promotion to La Liga by scoring 29 goals in the league in 2008-2009.
