Edwin Santibanez

Edwin Santibanez is a professional Mexican player who plays in the midfield and is known for his ability to lead his teammates with keen insight on the pitch. Santibanez began his career at Club America in 1998 where he played for a single season before being transferred to San Luis FC.

Santibanez was growing as a footballer and slowly became extremely influential on the pitch as well as off it. He had two great seasons at San Luis FC and decided to part ways in 2004 to move to CF Pachuca. Still in top-flight football, Santibanez had grown immensely in his stature as a footballer and decided to move to Indios de Ciudad Juarez. What may have seemed like a step down at the time, ended up being a huge step up as Santibanez took on the added responsibility of being the captain for the team.
