Artur Wichniarek is a Polish football player who currently features for the German Bundesliga club Hertha Berlina. He plays as a striker.
Artur Wichniarek commenced his professional club football career at Polish club Lech Poznan in 1996 and played for them for one season. He then moved to Widzew Lodz in 1998 and played for them for one season.
In 2000 Wichniarek was signed by Arminia Bielefeld for three seasons and scored 50 goals in 101 league matches. He was signed by Hertha Berlin in 2003 and played for them for three seasons.
Artur Wichniarek played for Arminia Bielefeld between 2006 and 2009 and was signed back by Hertha Berlin in the summer of 2009.
Artur Wichniarek made his international debut for Poland on March 3,1999. He played for his nation until 2008, scoring 4 goals in 17 international matches.
