Maximilian Nicu is a Romanian international football player who currently features for the German Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin. He plays as a midfielder.
Maximilian Nicu commenced his professional club football career at SpVgg Unterhaching and after playing for a number of clubs landed at Hertha Berlin in 2008.
Nicu's debut for Hertha was against FC Nistru Otaci in the UEFA Cup first qualifying round, second-leg match. He made his German Bundesliga debut for the club on August 17,2008 against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Maximilian Nicu made his international debut for Romania against Austria in April 2009.
