Daniel Monberg Jensen is a Danish international football player who currently features for the German Bundesliga club Werder Bremen. He plays as a midfielder.
Daniel Jensen commenced his professional club football career at Danish club Boldklubben 1893 in 1996 and played for them for two seasons. He was signed by Dutch side SC Heerenveen in July 1998 and Jensen went onto established himself as a very impressive midfielder in the Dutch league.
Jensen moved to Real Murcia in Spain in 2003 on a free transfer and after one season was signed by Werder Bremen. Jensen has played for Bremen ever since and has played over 100 league matches for the German Bundesliga club so far.
Daniel Jensen made his international debut for Denmark in February 2002 and played for his nation at the Euro 2004 finals.
