Elias Hernan Hernandez Jacuinde is a professional football player from Mexico who plays as a striker. Born in Morelia, it was natural that this aspiring talent would join the youth system at Monarcas Morelia. Although a striker, Hernandez has been known to play out wide on the right as well, giving the team a bit of width and opening up the defense.

Hernandez broke into the first team in 2007 and made his debut in October that year, against the UNAL Tigres. His first goal came when he was brought on as a substitute against Cruz Azul. Hernandez scored the match-winning goal in a 2-1 score line. Since his debut, Hernandez has played 50 times for the team and has scored 4 goals, mostly playing these games as a substitute.
