Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is a Dutch international football player who currently plays for German football club Schalke 04.
He plays as a striker and is supposed to be a world class targetman who is massively accurate with his shots and has an amazing goalscoring record.
Klass-Jan Huntelaar commenced his professional club football career at Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven and made his debut in November 2002 against Roosendaal away from home but that proved to be his only first team appearance for the Dutch side as he moved to De Graafschap in 2003 on loan. Huntelaar was loaned to AGOVV at the start of th 2003-2004 season. The Dutchman was a huge success in the Dutch second division and was signed by SC Heerenveen in 2004.
Huntelaar became a star at Heerenveen as he scored 17 goals in 31 matches in the league in the 2004-2005 season and led the club to UEFA Cup qualification. He continued his great form the following season too and was signed by Dutch giants Ajax in the middle of the 2005-2006 season.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar developed into one of the most clinical goalscorers in Europe at Ajax as he scored 76 goals in only 92 appearances between the middle of 2005-2006 and the middle of 2008-2009. He won the KNVB Cup with Ajax in 2006 and 2007.
