Dong Fangzhou

Dong Fangzhuo is a Chinese international footballer who currently features for the Premiership powerhouse Manchester United. He plays as a striker.

Dong Fangzhuo started his career at Chinese side Dalian Saidelong in 2002 and then moved to Chinese giants Dalian Shide and played for two seasons. In the summer of 2004, he was signed by Man United for an initial fee of 500,000 pounds which may rise to 3.5 million pounds depending upon appearances. He is the first Chinese to sign for Manchester United.

He was immediately loaned out to Belgian side Roya Antwerp and played regularly for two seasons for them. He has made sparse appearances for Man United since his return to the club in December 2006 when he was able to earn a work permit.

Dong made his debut for China in 2004 and is now a regular for his nation.
