An Argentine footballer from San Miguel de Tucuman, Emilio Jose Zelaya began his professional football career with his current club, Rosario Central, quite like many of his teammates such as, Mario Paglialunga and Milton Caraglio. Making his debut with the club in 2006, the striker was noticed in 2008, when he scored two goals against Olimpo de Bahia Blanca, a match they won 3-1. Zelaya has made over 50 appearances with the team so far, and has about 11 goals to his credit.
