Wellington Nascimento

A football striker, Wellington Pereira do Nascimento began playing in the youth division of Club Atletico Juventus in 2000, where he remained till 2002. In 2003, Nascimento turned pro with Mirassol, to whom he was loaned out. But he returned to Juventus the very same season. In 2004, Nascimento was once again loaned out to Parana Clube, where he appeared in 17 games.

Nascimento returned to Juventus in 2006, but once again was immediately loaned out to Santos FC, where after just 30 appearances and 9 goals, he moved to Deportivo Alaves the same year. After completing the season, he returned to Brazil and joined Botafogo to escape a struggling second division Spanish side. He played just 14 games and scored 4 goals but moved to Cruzeiro for the 2009 season.
