Anderson Beraldo
A Brazilian footballer, Anderson Cleber Beraldo began playing professional football in 2000 with Corinthians, where he remained till 2005. The central defender then moved to SL Benfica, a Portuguese club, where he made over 40 appearances, scoring 4 goals in all. With the club, he appeared in the Portuguese Superliga, and was soon in the starting team. The only title he won with the team was Portuguese Supercup in the 2005-06 season.
In 2007, Beraldo moved to French club, Olympique Lyonnais, where he remained for only one season, during which time he scored only once in 12 appearances. After a season, Beraldo was loaned out to Sao Paulo in 2008, and in 2009 he was loaned out to the club he currently plays in, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube.
Beraldo has also had the opportunity to play for his country, when he appeared in the Brazilian national team in 2005. He made one appearance, against Guatemala, during which he scored one goal. During his tenure with Corinthians, Beraldo conquered numerous international titles, including the 2000 FIFA World Club championship, Sao Paulo State championship in 2001 and 2003, the Rio-Sao Paulo tournament and the Brazilian Cup in 2002, as well as a Brazilian league championship title in 2005.
