Fabio Pereira da Cruz, popularly known as Pereira, is a Brazilian footballer, who began playing professional football in 2001, with Santos F.C., where he was drawn in from the youth club of the same club. Cruz remained with Santos till 2004, during which time he made 28 appearances, scoring 2 goals. The central defender then moved to Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama, though during his tenure with Santos he was loaned to Gaziantepspor for one season in 2001.
Cruz remained with Vasco for only one season, after which he moved to Associacao Portuguesa de Desportos in 2005. But his tenure with Portuguesa was extremely short, and after just one appearance he moved to Gremio where he remained till 2008, when he moved to his current club, Coritiba, which is top division club in the Brazilian football league.
Some of Cruz’s title wins include the 2nd division title in 2002 and 2005, and also the Rio Grande do Sul State League title in 2006 and 2007.
