Leandro Benitez

An Argentine footballer, Leandro Benitez began playing football with the youth club of his current club, Estudiantes de La Plata. He made his foray into professional football with the same club in 2000, and remained there till he was transferred to Quilmes Atletico Club. He remained with Quilmes for two season, before transferring to Olimpo de Bahia Blanca, where he stayed for another two seasons, before returning to Estudiantes.

Benitez, now back in Estudiantes, the midfielder was a part of the Apertura 2006 winning team, and alternates with Pablo Piatti for a place in the starting eleven.
