Cristiano Lupatelli is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Cagliari. He plays as a goalkeeper.
Cristiano Lupatelli commenced his professional club football career at Fidelis Andria in 1996 and played for them for three seasons. He was then signed by AS Roma in 1999 and was officially on their books until 2004. He won the Italian Serie A title with the Roman club in 2000-2001 but was never considered a first team regular.
In the summer of 2004 Lupatelli's contract with Roma expired and he signed for Fiorentina on a free transfer. But he failed to establish himself again at Fiorentina, managing just 32 league matches, although he was loan to Parma and Palermo for a certain period of time during his tenure with Cagliari.
Cristiano Lupatelli was signed by Cagliari in the summer of 2008.
