Marius Stankevicius

Marius 'Stanky' Stankevicius is a Lithuanian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Sampdoria. He plays as a midfielder.

Stanky commenced his professional club football career at FK Ekranas in 1998 and played for them for three years, scoring 3 goals in 87 league matches. He then moved to Italian club Brescia and after playing for them for two seasons.

Stanky then played for Cozenza for the 2002-2003 season and moved back to Brescia, where in his second spell he featured in 81 league matches, scoring 8 goals.

Stanky was signed by Sampdoria in 2008.

Stanky made his international debut for Lithuania in 2002 and has played over 40 international matches for his nation so far.
