Paolo Sammarco is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Sampdoria. He plays as a midfielder.

Paolo Sammarco developed at the youth academy of Italian and European powerhouse AC Milan but never made any first team appearance for them in the Italian Serie A. He was officially on the books of Milan until 2007 but played on loan for other Italian clubs.

Paolo Sammarco played for Viterbese for the 2002-2003 season and then moved to Prato for the 2003-2004 season. He played with quite some success for Chievo Veroa for three seasons between 2004 and 2007, scoring two goals in 71 league matches.

In 2007 Sammarco was signed by Sampdoria.
