Nicolas Victor Herrera is a professional football player from Argentina who plays as a striker. Herrera began as a member of the youth development program at Racing Club, in 2002. He was part of the youth structure up until 2005, subsequently joining Gimnasia de Jujuy.
At his new club, Herrera made 11 appearances before moving to the Primera B Nacional division to play for San Martin de San Juan. The main idea was to get more experience on the pitch and the move helped as Herrera played 21 games while scoring 3 goals. He helped the club gain promotion to the Primera Division and upon arrival, switched to San Martin de Tucuman in 2008. Herrera scored his first goal for San Martin de Tucuman in just his first 8 games.
