Daniele Cacia commenced his professional club football career at Italian club Piacenzain 2000. He played for them until 2007, scoring 35 goals in 91 league matches.
In the summer of 2007, half of his contractual rights were sold to Fiorentina. But he played for Piacenza until the winter transfer period when he moved to the Viola.
In the summer of 2008, US Lecce signed Cacia by buying half of his property rights from Piacenza.
