Nicolae Constantin Dica is a Romanian international football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Catania. He plays as an attacking midfielder. Dica is a very skillful player and known for being a prolific goalscorer and for his passing skills.

Nicolae Dica commenced his professional club football career at Dacia Pitesti in 1998. He played for them for two years, scoring 19 goals in 50 league matches.

He moved to FC Arges Pitesti in 2000 and played for them until 2004, scoring 34 goals in 89 league matches. In 2004 he was signed by Romanian powerhouse Steaua Bucuresti and went onto establish himself as one of the best midfielders in Europe. He scored 54 goals in 125 league matches.

Nicolae Dica was signed by Catania in 2008.

Nicolae Dica made his international debut for Romania in 2003 and has gone onto make more than 25 international appearances for his nation.

On March 25, 2008 he was decorated by the president of Romania, Traian Basescu, for the results on Qualifying to EURO 2008 and qualification to UEFA Euro 2008 Group C with Medalia “Meritul Sportiv” —(The Medal “The Sportive Merit”) class II with two barret.
