Giovani dos Santos

Giovani dos Santos Ramirez is a young Mexican international attacking midfielder or forward who features for the Spanish and European giants FC Barcelona. He is a product of Barcelona’s youth academy and has been playing in the senior side since the start of the 2007-2008 season.

Giovani is the son of the famous Brazilian footballer Zizinho. Since Giovani’s mother is Spanish and Zizinho is now based in Mexico, Giovani decided to don the colours of the Mexico and has featured with great delight and result for the Mexican U17 and U20 side and has also played for Mexican national side in 5 matches.

Although he has impressed in the limited chances that he has received in the Barcelona first team, Giovani is said to be frsutrtaed at barceon and the transfer rumour mill has thrown up the name of the Premiership side Manchester City as his next destination. Giovani dos Santos is said to be a star in the making with the great Ronaldinho himself having been quoted as saying that Giovani is his successor.
